Machine maintenance is vital to the longevity of any manual press. But, a machine that requires as little maintenance as possible is the best option. Every time you have to break down a machine to work on it, you are wasting time and money, potentially delaying orders and keeping customers waiting. Constantly breaking down a cheap machine waste more money than it saved you in the first place.

One key factor is the kind of parts that go into building the press itself.  At Antec, our Legend is an all bearing construction. These bearings are designed to last a lifetime! Minimal maintenance is required on the Legend as you can see by the video. We wanted to build a press that last 30 years plus!  So when you are looking to invest in a press, really take a close look at what is required to maintain it.  Ask the company to let you talk with current press owners to get their direct feedback! It will save you a ton of time and aggravation later.
